Backtick launches a new website

We are excited to announce the launch of our brand new website! The old site didn’t get much attention for a while and we felt it was time to update the visual appearance as well as the content of our page. While at it, we also took the opportunity to update the stack behind the page, separating content from code and making it easy to manage.

Quick facts about the new site:

• Design - Done by J. Nery

• Code - implemented by us at Backtick using next.js, React and TypeScript

• Content - managed and served through Contentful CMS

• Analytics - handled by plausible.io, respecting your privacy and eliminating the need for cookies (we really don't like the cookie consent box).

Apart from visual and technical updates, there’s a ton of new content about what we do, who we are and how we think about software and doing business.
